If the customer desires Microsoft based solution, we still keep Dell servers and use Windows server line of products. Our first choice of database server is MySQL for Linux and SQL Server for Windows environment. We use PHP, Perl, Ruby on Rails and Ajax to create rich web application in Linux based environment and .Net to do the same in Windows based environment. The choice of course is yours to make.
